Sariska Wildlife Sanctuary

Located at a distance of 199 km from Sikandra, the Sariska Wildlife Sanctuary is a place where one can find numerous endangered tigers. It is located in Rajasthan in its Alwar district. Apart from the tigers, you can spot sand grouse, peafowl, quail, golden backed woodpeckers etc. It is also home to the temples Garh Rajor which were built in the 10th and 11th centuries.

How to reach


Sariska is well connected with Agra via road and rail. You can reach Agra city by taking a local bus, auto or a cab and then proceed further. Travelling by own conveyance can be a good options and you can easily cover this distance in around 4.30 hours.

Delhi


Delhi, the national capital of India is located at a distance of around 213 Km from Sikandra. You can get a glimpse of a wonderful cultural mix as it was ruled by numerous dynasties and rulers. Places near Sikandra

Previously known as Kaludanda, Lansdowne was later named after Lord Lansdowne in the year 1887. The Indian army and Garhwal Rifles have their command offices here. Although it is well connected by roadways and railways, it is one the most quiet hill stations in India. Some of the major tourist attractions include Tarkeshwar Mahadev Temple, Santoshi Mata Temple, St. Mary’s church, Bhulla Tal and Regimental Museum etc.

Lansdowne is best reachable via road from Sikandra. Book a cab or a taxi or travel by your own car and reach the destination in around 5.30 hours.

Bhangarh Fort


Located in the Alwar district of Rajasthan, Bhangarh is a small town that is known all over the world for its historical ruins. The distance between Bhangarh and Sikandra is around 220 Km. It is a popular tourist destination that houses Bhangarh Fort. Other places of religious importance include Keshava Rai Temple, Mangla Devi Temple, Lavina Devi Temple, Gopinath Temple and Someshwar Temple etc.

Bhangarh is easily reachable via road and rail from Sikandra. You can even hire cabs or travel by private vehicles for added comfort.
